At The Master Fryer we still do things the traditional way; preparing the fish and potatoes each day in the morning so that everything is as fresh as it can possibly be. We only use the best British Maris Piper potatoes cut chunky to absorb less oil and use the finest sustainable fish from the clear waters of the Faroe Islands. With nothing else added other than some seasoning and a light batter, then fried in vegetable oil – it’s a lot healthier than you might think! We can get pretty busy at peak times with the queue winding out of the door onto the pavement outside but don’t worry if you see it like this when you visit, our friendly servers can cut through the queue in no time at all. We think this adds up to being one of the finest fish and chip shops in the country but don’t just take our word for it, come and see for yourself!
